Transit workers to rally ahead of contract deadline

See it on TV? Check here.   Eyewitness NewsNEW YORK (WABC) -- The clock is ticking on the contract for 34,000 transit workers in New York City.

Members of the Transport Workers Union will rally Thursday to remind the MTA of their strike in 2005 and the one month deadline, as well as to denounce any attempts to freeze wages or demand givebacks.

Then, workers will march to Zuccotti Park and join up with the Occupy Wall Street movement.
